My husband and I traveled on Thursday to the Outer Banks. We came here for the wedding of our former neighbors and great freinds Terry & Sara. Today we had some time before the rehearsal dinner to check out the island and take some pictures…..here are just a few!
The Hatteras Lighthouse was moved from its station on the beach in 2002. They moved it inland to protect it from any further deterioration. It is a totally awesome site to see.
I love how the sun makes it seem like the top is glowing!
In the Outer Banks you can take your vehicle right on the beach. Jesse and I thought was pretty darn cool!
