Photo by Pete Malone, who brought me lunch today! Thanks buddy!
Yesterday I dislocated my knee while sledding with Mya. Apparently, my knee did not like hitting a pile of bricks at full speed! I had a nice trip to the ER where I shared the waiting room with two other knee injuries, a ladies who broke her foot, and a very nice very old man that cut off three fingers in his snow blower!!!! I got x-rays and thank god nothing is broken but I need to stay off my feet for a few weeks. I will be returning emails, just not as fast as usual! Sorry to all my clients that I had to cancel shoots with! I will make it up to you!
Hope you had a better time in the snow than I did!

Holly & Steve were my first wedding of 2009! It was a beautiful day, cold but beautiful! The service was held at Saint Mary Church in Conshohocken. The reception followed at the always gorgeous Blue Bell Country Club in Blue Bell. A BIG FAT thank you to Pete Malone who volunteered to help me out with this wedding. I am sure he will have some pics on his blog this week too!
Thanks Holly & Steve for letting me be a part of this awesome moment in time!

The week before Christmas my family went on a Carnival Cruise to the Yucatan Peninsula. We made four stops, all were awesome! We were joined by my husbands grandparents which made the trip all the more special.
My family loves cruising. It is cheap and the service is awesome. These people treat you like family, waiting on you hand and foot. Another wonderful thing about cruising with Carnival Cruise Line is Camp Carnival. They provide you with top notch child care so everyone gets to do what they want. We have three girls 12, 10, and 5. Each child has a camp that caters to their age group. For two of our shore excursions we had to travel by bus for 2.5 hours to get to the Mayan Ruins, there was no way our 5 year old daughter could do that and the rest of us have a good time. She went to Camp Carnival and had a blast. Our 10 year old decided that after the first Mayan excursion (which was long and probably boring for a 10 year old) that she would rather stay on the ship and go to camp too. That is a huge plus for families with kids.
The following photos were taken with my new Canon G10. Man this camera is awesome!! It allows you to shoot in RAW and is fully manual. The video feature is also amazing. In my opinion this camera is worth every cent, the best point and shoot out there right now! I have others pix from my 5D but have not had a chance to even look at them. So there will probably be a part II to this post focusing on the Mayan Ruins.
Jesse, Whitney & Victoria at the first port of call Cozumel!
This is the resort we traveled to for snorkeling and zip lining. It was a blast.
Me and the girls all rigged up for Climbing and zip lining.
I love this photo. It looks like they are sizing each other up.
The birds look fake. Don’t they?
Whitney & Victoria, I love this pix too. Mya stayed on the boat for this excursion because she was too little.
Cozumel palm trees
Girls got their hair braided, we were total tourists!
This is the Mayan Ruin called Xunantunich located in Belize. We climbed to the top of this 13 story temple. The veiw was amazing!
Whitney & I at Kohunlich Mayan Ruin in Costa Maya. You can actually go into these chambers and we found a window and climbed out the back. Very cool.
Costa Maya – Absolutely gorgeous!
Love the shirt.
Our last stop was Nassau Bahamas, we did the Dolphin encounter at Dolphin Cay in the Atlantis Resort. I was not allowed to take my own pictures which was dissapointing because the photos they take for you to purchase are very low quality. However this was an AMAZING experience, I highly recommend this if you find yourself at the resort. This was the only excursion Mya could do and she LOVED it.
My husbands grandparents with our Super Charged Maître d Joseph. Every night we looked forward to seeing him at dinner. He was great!
This is Eddie & Melony. They were our severs each night for dinner. I can not say enough about these two people. Their mission was to make our experience one of a kind. Mya became so attached to Melony that she drew her pictures and still askes if she can write her a letter. So cool!
Once our cruise was over we took the girls to Kennedy Space Center. We didn’t have a lot of time because we had to catch a flight home. It was a good experience

On Saturday my family met up with Megan, Jon, Pete & Dawn to spend lots of money for the Toys for Tots Foundation. Just last week Megan & John booked my annual “for charity” photography package. Basically what we did was this: Instead of Megan and John paying ME for the photography of their wedding, they paid for a toy shopping spree where the toys that we all purchased with their money would be donated to Toys for Tots. In return I shoot their wedding in September of 2009. We had so much fun shopping for toys! Thanks to Pete Malone who came out and shot the video, and to his gorgeous wife Dawn for helping with the shopping! But without Megan & Jon this would not have been possible.
**Also a huge thanks to Wal-Mart for giving us a 10% discount off the total bill.**
Jesse & Victoria shopping away
Thanks Pete for the awesome video!!
Our Bride and Groom! I am looking forward to working with them!
Once we got rung up we had just enough cash left to buy a bike!
Our lovely bride, hands full of make-up.
Our car was packed!!
The whole gang after everything was all packed up.
Jesse and I dropped everything off with Marine SSgt. Miller at the Toys for Tots storage facility.

I have so much to blog before I go on vacation, so stay tuned more is a comin’.
These pix are from my afternoon out with the “gang”! I LOVE hanging out with Ryan and Pete but it is even better when you add Joy and Sofia in the mix! We ran all around Old City acting like kids. I highly recommend it! It’s nice to leave the fast paced “ckick click click” behind and just have FUN! Here is what I shot……but check out Ryan’s Blog & Joy’s Blog to see awesome pix of me! I Love them guys! Lets do this again very soon!

Yesterday I met up with Sam and her brother Bryan. They needed some quick photos for their mom for Xmas.
I am so lucky to have wonderful clients like Sam who come back again and again for photos. She is so stinkin’ gorgeous and easy to photograph! You can tell from these photos that Sam is such a mother hen to her little brother. She is too cute!! Enjoy!
